# Installation

> To use the ISkyblock mod, set up an up-to-date Hytale server, then add the `iskyblock.jar` file to your `mods/` folder.

> Then `Start` your Hytale server, a folder should be generated like this:

> Normally, you should never need to modify the configuration files directly, but if you ever do, be careful never to edit the `.lock` files—they are very critical and attempting to modify them may cause corruption.
